Checking of Order

It is the customer's responsibility to check the invoice upon final purchase to ensure that there are no discrepancies to the order. Should there be any discrepancies, MEBLE will not be obligated to fulfil the order. However, the cancellation policy will still be applicable.

Product Availability

The products offered on the Website are available in limited quantities. 

In the event that a product listed as available on the website is not in stock, the customer will be informed via email.  

Cancellation

The customer has the right to cancel the order, with no penalty and without specifying the reasons, within 48 hours from the date of purchase and there will be no fees incurred.

All cancellation requested must be emailed to info@meblematters.com. All cancellation requests received after 48 hours will be subjected to the following cancellation fees for regular priced items:

 

Cancellation fee of $50 for product value < $500

Cancellation fee of 5% of product value for product value > $500

 

Cancellation policy strictly does not apply to the following non-regular priced products:

Changes cannot be made to the following items:

  • •Customised/Made-to-order products

Returns

We hope you are happy with your order, however, should you wish to return purchased products, you can do so within 7 working days from the date on which you received them.

You may contact our customer service at info@meblematters.com to agree on the steps of the return.

 

Please note that the delivery fee is non-refundable. Shipping costs related to the product's return are to be paid by the customer.

 

Please ensure you receive proof of postage or delivery. Items lost or damaged in transit will not be treated as returned, and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

 

All returned goods will be examined upon receipt. All items are required to be returned unused and in their original packaging. We will not accept goods returned that are not in re-sellable conditions.

 

We will notify you if the returned items cannot be accepted. In this instance, you may choose to have the items return to you at your expense. If no arrangement has been made or you refuse the return delivery, MEBLE reserves the right to retain the products and the amount paid for the purchase of the products. 

 

We cannot accept exchanges and returns for items purchased during special promotions. The return policy does not apply to customised items and display, sale or discounted items.

Refund

Provided return requirements are fulfilled, the refunds will be processed within 30 days after the goods are received. Refunds will be credited back through the original mode of payment. We reserve the right to change the mode of refund. 

We cannot refund any taxes, duties, charges or the return shipping fee.

Warranty

This warranty covers the repair or replacement of any product with a manufacturing or material defect.

This warranty does not cover but is not limited to, the following: negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations, or damage from pets, moulding due to bad air ventilation, damage caused by unreasonable or incorrect use, failure to provide proper care and maintenance, normal fading due to lights or sunlight, corrosion or damage caused by contact with unsuitable chemicals or materials, damage due to obvious vandalism such as cuts or graffiti, or result of natural characteristic of the material used.

This warranty does not cover any product modification by the consumer or other parties not authorised by MEBLE.

This warranty does not cover items marked as display items at the time of purchase.

Prices & Payments

The prices published on the site are expressed in SGD (Singapore Dollars) and are the price in effect when the order is submitted by the Buyer. 

The payment of the purchased products can only be made using the following methods of payment, better described on the Website:

– Circuit credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Visa V Pay, MasterCard, and Maestro, PayPal.

In the event of payment by credit card, the financial information (for example, the number of the credit/debit card or the date of expiration) will be forwarded to Stripe which, through encrypted protocol SSSL certificate, guarantees the security of online transactions. Additionally, such information will never be used by MEBLE except to complete the procedures relating to its purchase by the Buyer and to issue refunds in the event of any product returns following the exercise of the right of withdrawal or if it is necessary to prevent or report to the police the commission of fraud on the Website. No charge will be made to the credit card used by the Buyer for payment at the time of transmission of the order. The debit will be made only after (i) the credit card details used for the payment have been verified and (ii) the company issuing the credit card used by the Buyer has issued the debit authorisation.

In the event that the charge is denied, MEBLE will have the right to suspend or cancel, at its discretion and at any time, the execution of an order and/or the shipment of the ordered products.In any case of late payment, MEBLE will be entitled to default interest equal to the legal interest rate from the tenth working day following the date of the order or from the notification of the rejection of the bank payment.

Electronic Signature

The “approval click” constitutes an electronic signature. Between the parties this electronic signature has the same legal value as a handwritten signature.

Non Renunciation

Any one or more failure by MEBLE to enforce any provision of this agreement or to exercise any right shall in no way constitute a waiver of such right or remedy on any future occasion.

Agreement Integrality

These General Conditions of Sale represent all obligations of the parties. No other general or special term and conditions communicated by the customer shall neither be included in, nor depart from these General Conditions.

Intellectual Property

MEBLE owns the intellectual property right upon the Website and the right to display the elements of the e-shop catalogue. Consequently, total or partial reproduction of the elements contained in the Website or the catalogue on any medium whatsoever, the use of such elements and the fact to make them available to third parties are formally prohibited.

Natural Variances

Marble

Any natural occurring stone (including marble, granite, slate ,etc.) will have variations in color, tone, granularity, and pattern. Sometimes these variations are slight, sometimes the differences are apparent. We expect these variations which are part of what makes natural stone beautiful and unique. It’s all in the eye of the beholder to determine what's the most desirable.

Leather

Every hide is different and because the dyes and finishes penetrate to varying degrees in different parts of the hide, an attractive variable finish is achieved with a level of uniformity as consistent as these processes allow. The natural marks, grain variations, and wrinkles, which appear on each hide will feature in your furniture. Irregularities in the grain, small scars, and insect bites, and other natural skin marks are not considered defects.

Wooden Furniture

Wood species respond to pigment (stain or paint) depending on the specie’s inherent characteristics. Factors such as; open-grain, closed-grain, grain density, end-grain, machining, sanding, and material type (solid wood vs. veneer wood) will all impact the overall appearance of a pigmented finish. Natural variations or inconsistencies in colour (shades), pattern (wood grains), and natural imperfection due to the knots are natural characteristics. The actual product may differ slightly from the display piece.

These natural characteristics are what make the furniture we produce individually unique.
